Welcome to the Naha City Library!

The Naha city Library consists of seven libraries .
Anyone can use the library.

• Tuesday to Friday　9:30～19:00
• Saturday　9:30～18:00
• Sunday　9:30～17:00　(Only the Naha Chuo library open from　9:30～18:00)

• Mondays.If Monday is a holiday, Tuesday is closing.
• 3th Wednesday of every month
• National holiday provides by the law.
• New Year's holidays (December 29 through January 4)
• Spcific periods for organizing library materials.( 15 days within one year)

• A library card is necessary for borrowing materials.
• The direction where it lives in naha city, and the thing which are commuted and which make the card of a library also from whom if a direction and attending school are the direction carried out are possible.
• present an ID that shows your name and address (such as a health insurance card, driver's license, or student identification card). We will make　the card at once.
• The library card is common in Naha City Library, Though the address is confirmed every years, the card can be used as it is.

• Hand in books you would like to borrow and your Library Card at the counter.
• You can borrow books however many, for up to two weeks.
• You can borrow up to two A/V materials for up to seven days.
• Return books to the counter. Put them in the return drop-box when the library is closed.But,Do not put A/V materials in the return drop-boxes.
• There are 5 return drop-boxes except librarys (Naha city office lobby, Mawashi branch office, Shuri branch office,Oroku branch office, Naha City Hospital) so that visitors can return books on library holidays or after closing time.

When books you would like to borrow are on loan,Or When you would like the library to purchase new books or other materials, You can request it. We will make our best efforts to fulfill your requests.

The personal computer for the Internet searching can be used [ one person / 30 minutes for free ]. However, neither printing nor mail can be performed.
