Light-Vehicle Tax
(Kei jidousha zei 軽自動車税)
Light vehicle tax is levied on a person who owns a gendo-tuki jitensha (under 125cc) or Kei-jidousha as of April 1st each year.
You will receive a bill in the mail.
The tax must be paid by the due date (May 31st).
If the vehicle is owned or used for disabled person, tax reduction may apply.
If applicant meets the requirements, tax reduction will be made.
