The child care center takes care of three months old infants to young children up to five years old who are not able to receive necessary care due to parents’ illness or work.

Use of Children’s Center & Playground
(Jidoukan/ Jidouyuuen no riyou 児童館・児童遊園の利用)
Children’s Center (Jidoukan) and Children’s Playground (Jidouyuuen) are public health facility, aiming the healthy upbringing of children.
The facility offers various opportunities to enrich the children’s experience, such as inviting playground, feeling the nature, and association with the elderly.
It also plays a role as local community center.
Instructor teaches game to the children, Children’s Club and Mother’s Club meets the center.

- *Closed on Okinawan Memorial Day, Japanese Holiday except Children’s Day, year-end and New Year Holiday.
- *Kanagusuku Jidoukan is closed every Sunday.
Children who reside in Naha (from baby to high school student) are eligible to use the facility.
Baby and toddler must be accompanied by a guardian.
