Call 110 If You Are Involved in Traffic Accident
(Koutsuu Jiko ni Attatokiha 110 ban 交通事故にあったときは110番)
Stay calm and verify each other’s registered vehicle number and driver’s license. Report the accident to the police immediately.
If the accident is not reported to the police, Proof of Traffic Accident (Kotsuu Jiko Shomei-sho 交通事故証明書) will not be issued.
It is necessary to receive insurance payment from traffic accident.
If member of National Health Insurance was injured from the accident and received treatment at hospital, please notify the National Health Insurance Division (Kokumin Kenkou Hoken-ka 国民健康保険課) at 862-4262.
You don’t have to hurry for the settlement of compromise.

This system will offer compensation when citizen of Naha was involved in accident. All family members are encouraged to join.

Qualification
- 1.Must resides in Naha City (includes alien residents)
- 2. Dependent of citizen of alien residents of Naha and lives in other city or prefecture for schooling
- Fee:
- 500 yen per person / year
- Term:
- April 1st to March 31st of the coming year
- Compensation:
- Minimum of 10,000 yen to maximum of 1,000,000 yen.
- How to apply:
- Pick up application at Citizens’ Activities Division or banking institution within the city, fill-in and bring to the counter of bank.
