How to Call a Fire Truck
1. Keep yourself calm and act quickly!
LET EVERYONE KNOW ABOUT THE FIRE!
When you see the fire, let your family and neighbor know and call 119.
Stay calm and tell them the accurate location.
For example:
- “Kaji desu, ○○ga moete imasu.
- Fire, (Name of building or address) is burning.
- ○○wa no soba desu”
- (Name or the building or address) is near.
2. EXTINGUISH THE FIRE QUICKLY!
Until fire truck arrives, try to extinguish the fire with Fire Extinguisher, hose or blanket. But, if roof caught the fire, evacuate to safe place quickly.
3. EVACUATE QUICKLY!
Saving life is the most important.
Evacuate the elderly and children first to safe place. Once you evacuate, never go back to the site, it is very dangerous.
