How to Call an Ambulance…Call 119!

Don’t panic! Calm down and tell them…
If patient is sick or injured address (or place, if in accident), name and telephone number, number of patients or injured, age, sex and condition of the patients/injured
For example:
“Kyukyu desu, ○○no desu.”
Ambulance please, I am (Name) , from ○○(Tell them the address or name of the building).
If you don’t know the address, you can tell them the landmark (school or shopping center, etc) Let them know specifically WHO is involved and WHAT has happened.

The Use of the Ambulance (Kyukyusha no Riyou 救急車の利用) Ambulance is for serious injure and ill people who need medical care as soon as possible.
It should not be used as taxi to those who are not in the serious condition.
